Manny was imported from Holland to be my showhorse and eventually a breeding stallion. His sire is a Hanoverian and dam is a Dutch Warmblood with plenty of thoroughbred blood.
Manny has gorgeous movement and excellent jumping ability, awesome potential for showjumping especially. He has been mainly trained in showjumping and has enough skills to compete in Grand Prix levels. He seems to love cross-country jumping and I hope to compete him in that too.
He has gigantic desire to please and is wonderful to work with, however he needs more experienced rider to show his full potential since he can be a little hot-headed when he gets too excited of jumping.
Manny is really calm and gentle stallion when handled and no noise will spook him which is a great ability especially when arriving to showing grounds where it might get a bit noisy.
Manny is so mellow that he almost seems lazy and he's always aiming to snap a few mouthfuls of grass when leading him. I think he would eat all the oats in the world if he could get his hands (or hooves in this case) to them. I have to keep him on a very strict diet, because he gains weight too easily.
