Breeding
All our breeding horses are carefully selected to ensure beautiful conformation and excellent jumping and dressage skills for their offspring. Not to forget the obedient and cooperative temperament and health. Foals are weaned from their dams at the age of 6 months at earliest, not a day before so that they wont develop any behaviour problems because of that.
Our prefixes for Hanoverians and dual-registered KWPN is VRH and IEQ for other breeds. ILL is the prefix for our Finnish Warmbloods. |

Sales
From time to time we sell some of the foals born in our farm, they are usually weanlings or yearlings but occasionally adult horses will be for sale too.
All horses are checked by the vet before selling and the buyers can return the horses to us if they can't keep the horse anymore for some reason. We will then keep the horse or find a new perfect home for him or her. You can see our horses for sale under the Services-link. |
Some History
Donnerkonig
Illusion Equestrian is a breeding farm that was established in Velvet Ridge Farm of Appaloosa Plains. Before adding additional breeds ans changing the name to Illusion Equestrian, this farm used to focus only on Hanoverians and this stable's name used to be Velvet Ridge Hanoverians. Back then it all started with me importing my first mare, liver chestnut Hanoverian mare Rose of May and later her "fiancee" bay stallion Don Rigoletto who nowadays is the main base of my Hanoverian lines and very well known in Equus Sims community. His descendants are very wanted for their conformation, personality and skills in all three disciplines. Don Rigoletto will always be in my heart and hopefully he still has many years left.
Our main goal is still to breed quality Hanoverians. We also have a small breeding program for Arabians, Dutch Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds and few other breeds with smaller influence to our lines.
We used to breed Knabstruppers and they were sought after but I decided to focus on the actual warmblood breeds instead.
